THIS MOMENT · CONTEMPORARY REFLECTION

The I Ching invites attention to change and timing. In this moment, what is ready for a small step, and what needs more time? In Kyoto, Japan, you recorded clear skies and 15°C. You described “hopeful” as a noticeable feeling. What small possibility are you looking forward to? Give your hope a visible action. You can take today’s step with care even when the distant path is unclear. A beginning is allowed to be small; it need not contain the whole journey. Give this feeling some attention, then respond at your own pace. Begin by noticing your own pace. Moment recorded: 21/03/2026, 09:15:00.003 · Asia/Tokyo.

One small practice

Spend five minutes beginning something you look forward to. Name one small step for today and one thing you can let wait.

Classical sources

Words with roots.
Room to reflect.

The sky above you, the place you are in, the feeling you bring. Your moment takes shape in ink. Inspired by the I Ching, Hetu and Luoshu, each contemporary symbol offers a little space for reflection.

Each classical excerpt names its source. English translations and reflections are studio writing. Lines come from a curated collection and may accompany more than one symbol.

For cultural reading and reflection, without predictions of fate. Calendar labels use your selected time zone, civil hours and a midnight day boundary.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

A few things to know.

What changes with the tradition I choose?

Both choices shape your symbol and frame the full reflection. The I Ching lens attends to change, movement and timing; the Hetu–Luoshu lens to relationships, arrangement and balance. These are related traditions interpreted by the studio today, and they may share classical lines.

Does the moment I submit matter?

Yes. The server records the arrival of a new submission to the millisecond and uses that moment together with your place and feelings. Day and hour stems and branches follow the selected local time zone. New moments can bring new symbols; motifs or classical lines may recur. Reopening a saved reading keeps its original moment and result.

How does the daily limit work?

Single purchases and membership unlocks share a limit of 10 readings per account per day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Reopening a reading does not count again. A single checkout reserves a slot; cancelling from PayPal releases it. The allowance is checked again before capture on another day.

How do renewal and cancellation work?

Monthly membership renews at $18 USD per month; annual membership at $168 USD per year. Cancel future renewal in your member room or PayPal and retain your paid period. The $1 unlock does not renew. Contact the studio about incorrect charges or access problems.

How is the annual tea set arranged?

Annual membership includes one personalized tea set. Eligible destinations, specifications, production and delivery dates, and extra charges must be disclosed and agreed before payment. Share your preferences in the member room after purchase, and contact the studio for progress.

Are purchases refundable?

All sales are final. We do not offer discretionary refunds for a change of mind, an interpretation that does not meet your expectations, or unused membership. Cancelling renewal stops future charges and does not refund the current paid period. This policy does not exclude mandatory consumer rights or PayPal’s dispute and buyer-protection procedures.
