The experience draws on the I Ching, the He Tu and Luo Shu, seasonal imagery, the heavenly stems and earthly branches, and wider Chinese literary traditions. Our compositions and accompanying reflections are contemporary interpretations. We do not claim that an image is an authenticated historical talisman, a religious authorization, an objectively accurate divination, or a reconstruction of one universally accepted classical method.

Information such as place, mood, weather and submission time may influence an automated composition and its selection of text. These relationships are design choices, not scientific evidence that circumstances or celestial events determine your future. Any weather or astronomical information may have source, timing or availability limitations. Interpretations may repeat themes, and different users may encounter similarities.
